Ensuring Technology Access Equity:The Dallas ISD Flight Plan to the Future
SxSW edu 2015 Proposal SubmissionStephanie Elizalde, Dallas ISD
SxSW edu 2015 – Proposal Submission
The notion of a “flight plan” is used because, like a flight plan, our plan requires us to fly high, to a specific destination, with checkpoints along the way; it requires that we know the destination and we plan a route to get there, considering the available resources, time and obstacles; it encourages us to leverage the wind at our back that available opportunities can provide; it challenges us to soar.

Like all great journeys, ours focused not on what was or had been, but on what would make the greatest difference, and what was possible: every child, in every school, having a great and equal opportunity for success.
