Daily Art Zone Fun: Clay Table, Easel Painting, Spray Bottle Painting, Goop Table, Dress Up, Mud & Water Kitchen.
Throughout the summer we also offer our favorite projects such as Neon Painting, Collage Finger-painting, Wood Collage, Card
Collage, Beading, Shrinky Dinks, Face Painting, Clay Treasure Boxes, Coil Pots, and so much more. The most fun is watching the
kids invent their own creative favorites this summer. We hope you can join us!

Glitter & Jewels Camp
Art Zone's signature camp of pure fun: Glitter &
Jewel Butterflies, Glitter Photo Holder,
Kandinsky Circles, Glitter & Jewel Planters,
Jim Dine inspired Hearts with Iridescent
Glitter. Plus glitter & jewels on every table all
week long.
August 3 to August 7: Hermosa Beach
Lemon-Aide Stand
Kids make tons of art & decide which to take home
& what to donate. Art cards, peace magnets,
recycled beads & jewelry, cute charms, & more sell
on Etsy store set up by Art Zone. Children are
guided to choose a charity which will benefit from
the proceeds. Older kids can help manage the
online store.
August 17 to August 21: Hermosa Beach
Sweet Treats Week Pure joy of Pop Art fun
creating sweet treats from paint, paper, & clay in
another popular Art Zone camp. Sweet projects
include Four Cupcakes Warhol Style, Ice Cream
Cones in Watercolor (Thiebaud), Five Tiered Cake
with sparkles and jewels, Donuts & Lolipops
sculpted from salt dough. FRIDAY: bring a T-Shirt
August 10 to August 14: Hermosa Beach
Print Shop Art Camp
Art Zone is transformed into a creative print-
making studio! Explore stencil shapes (peace
signs, cupcakes, airplanes & dinosaurs), Print
from leaves, flowers, string, lace & paper. Print on
cardboard, fabric, 100% rag paper & more!! FRIDAY: bring a T-Shirt
June 28 to July 3: Hermosa Beach
Tinker, Tailor, Science, Spy:
Art Zone mixes up the maker movement offering
investigative opportunities including: Marker
Bots, Plaster Textiles, Squishy Circuits, Secret
Spy Flashlight Wands, & Tie Dye T-Shirt on

Glitter Week Art Camp
Kids have unlimited access to Art Zone’s glitter
cabinet all week long - a new project each day
including: Glitter Robots, “Glitter Splash”
inspired by Jackson Pollack, Glitter
Insects/Flowers, Glitter Textile Design, & Glitter
Architecture Towers of shapes and color.

Wonder Woman & Superman head up Art Zone
Justice League to bring nonviolent multicultural
super heroes to life as we imagine a world of
peace & love for all. Draw Super Heroes, Write a
Super Hero Story, Design a Super Hero Cape,
Invent and draw Power Symbols,
& FRIDAY: bring a T-Shirt
July 6 to July 10: Hermosa Beach
Ice Castles & Frozen Creatures:
Kids paint & sculpt artic environments for their
favorite creatures. Projects include a Winter Fox
& Ice Castle Portrait, Clay Polar Bear & Ice Cave,
Puffy Paper Artic Dinosaur, Clay Penguins, and
“Magic Painting” Seals. Kids also play with ice
cube painting and frozen balloons water play. .
August 24 – August 28: Hermosa Beach
Paper, Rock, Scissors
A wide variety of materials & techniques offer kids
something new to explore & discover every day.
Projects include Paper Making, Rock Mosaics; Cut,
pin & paste a Matisse inspired “Scissor Collage”, Wire
& Rocks Sculpture, & Mixed Media collage with
paper, string and fabric.
July 27 to July 31: Hermosa Beach
Peace, Love & Friendship
This is what summer camp is all about! Kids
enjoy another Signature Art Zone Camp. Paint
clay Peace Signs, glue fabric hearts & buttons for
Friendship Collage, make Love Magnets to give
away to neighbors. Create Peace through Love & Friendship. FRIDAY: bring a 100% cotton T-Shirt
