How to use this choice board
Students will love learning about the branches of government and having the opportunity to show what they know through these activities!
You can use this choice board as a review of lessons already taught or as a preview, so that students will research and learn on their own as they complete the activities.
Using choice boards facilitates differentiation and independence! Students can work in groups or independently to complete the tasks.

Create a PowerPoint slide show with at
least one slide for each branch of government. The slides should explain the responsibilities for
each branch.
Create a graphic organizer like a table showing how the government is divided
into three branches. Explain the responsibilities
of each branch.
Write a poem or song to explain the
responsibilities of each branch. You must read the poem or perform
the song in front of the class!
Create a game that will teach other students
about the three branches of
government and the responsibilities of each
branch. You game should include at least
15 questions!
