Class XII
Value Education
Note: Moral Science or Value Education cannot be Evaluated thro a set of Question and Answers. The
teacher should understand each chapter and reflect on the issues before it is taught. Std. XI and XII
students can ask very "tricky" questions. At times, these are no real solutions for these dilemmas. A
teacher can make the students to reflect, be aware and find their own answers. The Teacher should
handle them delicately. Instead of rushing thru the syllabus, the teacher should deal a few key issues of
each chapter "in depth", and encourage students to conclude for themselves. The seeds sown now
hopefully will bear fruits when they are mature citizens.
Final aim of value education is formation of a "Good Conscience," imbibing a sense of "care for others"
and "sensitivity" to fellow humans which is the ultimate test.
