Who is Tiffany Rich?
#Lungs4Tiff and Cystic Fibrosis26-year-old college student from Brentwood, California who has cystic
fibrosis and is on the donor list for a pair of lungs. Her number one dream, other than new lungs, was to meet Taylor since she said her music
had inspired her not to give up hope. In the previous photo she was holding up a sign reading that was her one wish.
I saw the photo on Thursday, July 30, 2015. I did all in my power to gain attention to her photo, which led to her appearing on the NBC Bay Area News. On August 7, she received a call from Taylor Swift and got to meet
her on August 15, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The story was then featured on the cover of Buzfeed on August 18, 2015, which has been
seen by millions around the world, as well as in Seventeen, Eonline, and Countryweekly.
Tiff is now one of the first spokespersons for Cystic Fibrosis and people continue to post about her story with the hashtag, #lungs4tiff, with 766
current posts on Instagram with the tag.
The results?
Since the story went viral in August, Cystic Fibrosis national has reported a 333%
increase in donations as compared to the Fall of 2014, which is in the hundreds of
thousands for the foundation and it has only been 2 months…
