Description A skunk is a mammal. Some skunks are 37 inches. Their fur is sometimes black and white. The type of covering is white facial stripe,neck patch,it looks like there’s a V on there back,and a fluffy tail. Some skunks fur is colored brown,gray, or even cream colored. Their special body part is there spray.
Habitat You can find them in Nebraska and in
Canada. Their habitat is under buildings,decks,dumps,basements,and woodpiles. Their type of home is a hole in the ground.
Living Habitats They eat lizards, frogs, birds, eggs,
garbage, acorns, fallen fruit, insects, beetles, larvae, and earthworms. There diet includes black widow spiders and scorpions.
Birth and Growth They are born late April to early June.
Facts . A litter is from one to seven
young,usually five. Did you know people call skunks polecats. A hog nose skunk actually has a nose of a pig. Did you know that a skunk is related to a wheezle.
Tips Do not feed skunks or they will get
addictive to human food. Never leave your pet outside. Never leave garbage out of the
garbage cans or a skunk will get it.
