Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Silver Medal
This award is given to a graduating student who achieves 90% or better on six designated courses. The six courses must be taken at the Grade 12 level but need not be taken during the Grade 12 year. A Grade 12 credit from the previous year may be used only if not previously counted for a Silver Medal Award.

Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School Staff Bursary
Awarded on behalf of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier staff to help one or more deserving students proceed to post-secondary education. All staff members are canvassed, and through their
contributions provide funds for the bursaries being awarded. A committee of teachers examines each applicant’s potential for success based on their background both in school and out.

Prompted by the desire to raise awareness for environmental issues related to the Mer Bleue Bog, Waste Connections of Canada and Friends of the Mer Bleue Inc. are providing a scholarship to a
