Seedling Count ProcedureSeedling Count Procedure
• Record every seedling species on the microplot by condition
• Count up to five individuals of each species by condition
• Planted and natural seedlings must be 1.0 ft in length
• Longleaf pine must be 0.5 inch at the root collar
• Only count stump sprouts as one seedling

Record the Condition Number of each seedling species

• Record up to 5 individuals of each species in each condition
• If more than 5 seedlings, record “6”
