SCRANTON MIDDLESCHOOL ORCHESTRAS
Ms. Melissa Parks, Director of Orchestras Ms. Sarah Hamilton, Collaborative Pianist
Ms. Jennifer Evans, Director of Symphony Orchestra
PROGRAM
The Brighton Orchestra program is rooted in Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s Talent Education method; just as every child learns their native language with fluency, so every child can learn to play a stringed instrument beautifully.
This is accomplished through the loving support of families and a carefully sequenced instructional approach. Begin-ning in grade five and concluding in grade twelve, all Brighton Orchestra students have the opportunity to develop their abilities into a lifelong relationship with beauty in music.
