tim and the tiny tortoise
tim, the baby tiger is sitting in a tent on a rainy day.
there is a teapot and two cups on a table.
he sees tina, the tiny tortoise.
he asks her to come in.
“Will you drink tea with me?” says tim.
but tina is afraid of him.
tim feels bad.
he goes and sits under a tree.
tina then goes inside the tent and drinks the tea from a cup.
the rain stops after some time.
she runs out and gives tim a toy.
“thank you for thetea!” tina says.

Finger printing
Steps to do the activity:
1. Draw a tomato on a sheet as shown in the picture.
2. Take red colour paint.
3. Dip your index finger in the red paint.
4. And finally do finger printing with the help of index finger on the picture of the tomato.
Note: Help your child do finger printing which will enhance his/her fine motor skills.

Folding a Napkin
Folding a Napkin
This practical life activity is really simple and requires little preparation.
Material required for the triangle fold:
A napkin
Washable marker
Steps:
Step 1:Using a washable marker, draw the following lines on
Step 2: Draw a line across the napkin, from corner to corner – diagonally as shown in the photo.
Step 3:Fold along the line and draw a line from the top corner to the bottom, as shown in the picture.
Step 4: Firstly demonstrate. Show your child how to fold the napkin. Using your index finger trace the
linesso that you show him where the folds takes place. Next fold the napkin across using the lines as a
guideline as shown in the pictures.
Step 5: Next fold it along the next line.
As you finish folding along a particular line, ask the child what shape it forms – Big Triangle &Small
triangle.
Now ask your child to follow the same sequence.

Swing for Fun Play
Materials Required 3 yards nylon/ cotton fabric
Eye screw/ bolts
Hooks for holding the cloth
Instructions Screw two bolts into the ceiling or door frame at around 2 feet.
Tie strong knots at both the ends of the cloth.
Now, attach the knots to the bolts with the help of hooks.
Your swing is ready.
Note For heavier children, you can double the cloth, so it stretches less.
Be sure to test the swing after it is hung.
