Powder Definitions:
Standard Powder: Made with standard polyester resins.
Super durable: Superdurable refers to a certain type of polyester resin that has superior UV durability, anti chalking and gloss retention compared to standard polyester resins. This helps with the erosion rate of the powder not corrosion resistant's. (This is becoming the new standard most powder manufactures now stock SD powder in all RALs) Super durable Corrosion resistant: Is the same as the Superdurable but has new technology additives that prevents the loss of adhesions in corrosive conditions. (Currently only Vitracoat is offering this and Acuity is the biggest consumer)
Epoxy: Old technology, used as a tough base coat to promote good adhesion. The theory behind epoxy base coats is that any pin holes in the coating would not line up with pin holes in the Polyester top coat sealing the substrate better.
E-Coat: Is a 0.8 to 1.0 mil epoxy primer applied by cathodic electrodeposition process through total immersion. (used by CREE to achieve an ASTM rating of 4 @ 5016 hours of testing)

AAMA 2605
Is a new ten-year superior performing specification with increased performance to AAMA 605.2-92. Significant upgrades have been made in the areas of ten-year weathering performance, abrasion resistance, salt spray and humidity on extruded aluminum and aluminum panels. Many coating suppliers in the aluminum window, door and skylight industry are putting 10-30 year warrantees on AAMA 2605 certified products.

Recommend a potential 10 year warranty for the following processes due to corrosion resistant testing.
65NC 9 @ 5000 hours 0.5 360 alloy with .3-.4% copper no base coat with SDCR powder top coat processed at IPF

Borderline recommendation for 10 year warranty for this process
Due to the installation area a warranty may have to be un-considered due to elements, IE: chemical fumes, X amount from salt water, etc
