True Facts about Abortion

1 out of every 66 deaths in the WORLD is an abortion.
Abortion is the leading cause of death in the
world.
We have lost more Americans through abortions (64 times more)
than we did in all of our wars (12 wars) combined.
The D-Day invasion of France (WWII) was the bloodiest battle in history.
There were 53,714 allied soldiers killed in the "Battle of Normandy."
Yet, our world kills more people than that in just 9 hours through abortions.
America lost 589 soldiers in its first year of fighting in the Iraq War.
The world, however, kills more people than that in just 6 minutes
through abortions.
Each year, 20 million abortions take place in
unsafe conditions and as a consequence, an estimated
80,000 women die.
Did you know that the first female physician in the United States opposed abortion, calling it “a
gross perversion and destruction of motherhood?”
Elizabeth Blackwell (1821-1910) fought fervently against abortion
and for the rights and education of women.

83% of all abortions are obtained in developing countries

When a woman is given RU-486 (also called Mifepristone), it kills her baby by interfering with progesterone, the hormone which keeps the baby
implanted in the wall of the mother’s uterus. Two days later, the woman returns to the clinic to receive a prostaglandin drug which induces labor
and expels the dead embryo.
1/4 of all pregnancies end in abortion.
Most Americans gravely underestimate the amount of abortions performed in
the United States each year.
39% of girls who are minors are acquiring abortions without parental

There was no precedent for the 9 Supreme Court Judges who decided in the Roe vs. Wade Decision that to deny women
unrestrained access to abortion is unconstitutional.
Roe vs. Wade was decided on Jan. 22, 1973.
Abortion is legal in the United States in any and all of the 9
months that a woman is pregnant.
According to the U.S. Supreme Court - pre-born children are
unprotected by State laws because they have no constitutional rights
since they are not "legal" persons.
According to the US Supreme Court –Unborn babies are not persons
under section one of the 14th amendment.
Planned Parenthood is the biggest provider of abortion in
the USA.

and contraception business!
