Parish Staff and Schedule
Saint Mary Parish is a community of Catholics, striving to be an open and caring people, living our faith, spreading
God's word, and serving as Jesus' disciples to our
families, our parish and our surrounding communities.
Dear Parish Family, A WARM WELCOME TO ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS AND ALL WHO ARE VISITING WITH US TODAY! Please know we are very happy you have decided to worship with us today. You are most welcomed and loved at this special place! If you need any type of service or ministry please do not hesitate to call me or any member of our staff. We are most happy to serve you!
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Congratulations and prayerful best wishes to all of our young parishioners who will receive their First Holy Communion next weekend. May our dear Lord continue to flood your soul with His graces as you receive His Body, Blood,
Soul and Divinity today and each Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation. Congratulations also go out to all of our dear parents, siblings, family, friends and catechists/teachers of our children.
ANNUAL SPRING NOVENA: Each Spring, Saint Mary Parish conducts a Novena in honor of a title of Our Blessed Lady. This year, since it is the 100th Anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima (1917-2017), we will praying a nine day Novena in honor of Our Lady of Fatima beginning on May 7 until May 15 at
7:00 PM. Please note: The Holy Rosary will be prayed beginning at 6:30 PM. Please join us in this most powerful novena of our times.
MAY PROCESSION AND CROWNING: On Tuesday, May 9 at 7:00 PM the entire parish community of Saint Mary will conduct our Annual May Procession and Crowning of the Statue of Our Lady. This year is very special because we will be celebrating the
100th Anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to the three shepherd children. The May Procession will include a moving float with Our Lady of Fatima and the three shepherd children: Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. Also appearing will be the ANGEL OF PORTUGAL, also known as the ANGEL OF PEACE. The float will stop 6 times during the route around the campus. Each stop we will hear the message of each apparition of Our Lady to the world.
PARISH GIVING: I highly recommend that all of our parishioners look into the idea of Electronic Funds Transfer. This method of giving/contribution, as you know, is paperless. Your contribution will be transferred from your account (whatever
account you select: savings, checking, etc) to the parish account. Why is this important? Well, in order to keep our parish solvent we have to try not to go under budget. In Parish Giving, you will not have to worry about Church contribution when you are away visiting another parish, on vacation, while you are under the weather or forgot to stop at an ATM before church. Please go to our church web site and click the 3rd tab at the TOP called Parish Giving. Follow the easy to follow prompts. If you have any questions please call our Parish Business Manager, Mary Beth O'Connor for more information. Thank you for considering. For all of our parishioners, whether currently using Parish Giving (Electronic Funds Transfer) or not, please consider increasing your donation by $1.
TREE OF REMEMBRANCE: We are still looking for One or Several Donors for our TREE OF REMEMBRANCE to be placed in the foyer of our Saint Mary Catholic School. This TREE will be used for an important part of Catholic Education -
THE ENDOWMENT. Perhaps your group, organization, ministry, friends, neighbors or Class would like to be part of this aspect of the future of our school. Help us to help so many who come to our school.
MOTHER'S DAY REMEMBRANCE CARDS: Each year we offer Mother's Day Remembrance Cards for the intentions of our Living and Deceased Mothers. The names of our Mothers will rest on the corner of our Main Altar on Mother's Day weekend for the special
remembrance and/or intentions of our dear moms. Please pick up a Mother's Day Remembrance Card in our Church Library or the Parish Office Center (formally called the Parish House) during office hours. A suggested offering of $5 is requested.
Have a nice week everyone!

Today, April 30th, is Blue Sunday: A Day of Prayer the
Church sets aside to pray for the victims of child abuse
and for those who rescue them. We pray because they
shouldn’t have to pray alone.
Blue Sunday Prayer: “Lord, thank you for our children; for them we
kneel and pray. Help us teach them of your kind-
ness, of your mercy and your way. Help us show
them of your love, your strength and safety, too.
Help us show them who you are. Help us treat
them like you do.”
For more information on Blue Sunday and how we can
make a difference go to www.bluesunday.org. “Whoever
receives one little child like this in my name receives
me.”
