• Funding Support for the provision of facilities / infrastructure, additional equipment and resources for new and existing facilities that directly target Rural Youth and training programmes to empower rural youth. (no duplication of existing training)
• For purpose of the LEADER programme Rural Youth are defined as people aged between 15 & 35 years old
• Rate of Aid 75% maximum for youth projects for capital/equipment.
100% maximum for training projects
• Minimum grant aid = €2,500 Maximum funding = €200,000
• Total Budget available = €350,000
Eligible Activities include; Construction or renovation work, Purchase of machinery and equipment, Professional/Technical Fees (up to 12% of project costs), Training and Capacity Building initiatives, feasibility studies etc.
