SWEEP – Litter Picks
Letter from local resident: ‘….it was an absolute pleasure to
return along Cardonald Place Road to find a crowd of pupils diligently clearing up the litter… I would like to congratulate the school and its pupils for their part in this initiative’

for the Commonwealth Ambassador Programme
Sotonye David-West (S4) was one of a group of pupils who represented Glasgow in Delhi
This will go towards helping a nominated school in Delhi who currently have very little resources

Victoria Rose and Erin McCardie (both S6) have appeared on River City recently

Construction Award
Greg Moffat (S4) has won a John Mather Trust Award (1 of only 2 Glasgow boys) for his work in construction in S3 at Cardonald College.
Greg attended an award ceremony at Hampden Park and he will receive £50, a presentation medal and a tour of the stadium & Museum of Football.
Well Done Greg!!
Art Award
Sarah Milligan, S6, won the top award at Castle Toward during an Art residential week in the summer.
Highly prized award for her friendly and helpful nature, hard work and enthusiasm she has shown over the two years she has been going to Toward.
Football Star Dylan Dykes (S3) is currently on a day – release
