Weedless RiggingWeedless rigging on a TT Lures 3/0 ChinlockZhead allows you to cast this soft popper over, into and through structure in search of fish…areas where you would never have been ablecast a standard popper. It floats, responds wellto various retrieves, feels soft and realistic andfish love it!

Step 1 - Tie on your TT3/0 ChinlockZ jighead.Thread it through thecentre of the cup faceand and out behind thegill plates on theunderside of the PopShadZ.

Step 2 - Pull the hookthrough until youreach the silver ‘chinlock’ and then slowlypull the ‘chin lock’through the plastic.

Step 3 - As the ‘chinlock’ exits theunderside of theplastic it will lock inplace and the hookwill turn to face pointup.

Step 4 - Thehook will nowlay against theside of the plastic. Bendthe tail section of the plasticup a little to make it easier to push the hookpoint straight through from the end of theunderside rigging channel out through therigging channel on top of the plastic.

Step 5 - Pull the hook point and barb downagainst the top of the plastic to minimisesnagging and fouling. The hook will keel andright the plastic from the cast so it alwaysswims true and you can cast it virtuallyanywhere. Fish on!

Rigging for Open WaterThe Pop ShadZ is also deadly in open waterand if you’re not worried about snagging orfouling it can simply be rigged with a treble orstandard straight shank hook (J hook).
