In particular, headed the financial and accounting team and established a disciplined framework for financial accounting and financial management of the stockbroker. After one year of operations, the brokerage achieved the distinction of being the only stockbroker in the country able to produce complete monthly management accounts one day after the closing of each month, and working capital outlook reporting twice daily. “Khalizan is a versatile and resourceful professional and has demonstrated that he can comfortably handle many aspects of the technology and domain
knowledge required to deliver the solution that the customer envisions.
He developed the PODS (Pipeline Open Database Standard) database and its integration to ArcGIS 9.1 for me in 2004 for the PETRONAS Gas GIS Pilot Project
which required a thorough understanding of gas pipeline data requirements. After that we put together technical specifications on GIS, Data Warehousing /
Mining solutions.
We are now working together on a Secured Government Database integration with Google Map using Google Map APIs. This solves the immediate problem of
most GIS work - getting accurate basemaps! We are about to complete our Bridge Information System (BMS) for the Brunei Pubic Works Dept; our role being
integrating the BMS Database to Google Map.
We continue to work on many similar projects and can handle similar requirements to meet particular clients’ needs in the engineering, technical and security
industry”

“I worked with Khalizan on an IT project to implement a fertiliser contracts tendering application for a client of Codegen Technologies. The application also
made use of a Business Intelligence (BI) software to analyse in detail from different perspectives the data within the application.
The project was able to be carried out in quick time because of a code generator designed by Khalizan to automatically generate the codes behind the UI.
The client was also impressed with Codegen's firm grasp of the client's business processes. This is Khalizan's main strength: his strong technical grounding
coupled with his ability to quickly understand business processes arising out of his accounting background. Most other consultants are skilled in either the
technical or the business aspects but rarely in both. Khalizan's expertise in both would greatly help businesses that wish to tap his talent.”
