REPORT ON VISIT TO TEHRI DAM AND CHILLA DAM

Venue: Tehri Dam and Chilla Dam , Uttarakhand India

Objectives: To educate students of 2nd year about the functioning and construction of dam.

Activities Undertaken: Department of civil engineering organized a 2 day educational tour for the students of second year to visit Tehri dam and Chilla dam, Uttarakhand India .

Resource Persons: Ms. Maninder Kaur , Mr. Jeetendra Ahirwar, Mr. Aashish Malik, Ms. Tarushi Singh

Outcome: Students were enlightened about technical construction of Dam, working of turbines and operation of pump house and control circuits.
