Qest4 Energetic Testing
Language and Practice
Mark Conrad © Qest International Ltd 2016
What is the purpose of this talk ?
- to consider fully what happens when you run a client consultation with Qest4.
- to stimulate thinking about what energetic testing is actually doing
- to explore the language that best describes what we do
Explaining energetic testing- energetic devices usually borrow the
language of orthodox medicine- this is challenged by regulators- it cannot be reconciled with the variety of
ways people find to use the system- there is a strong case for changing the
language
Some phrases often used:
“It sends out frequencies to balance your body”
“It measures to see if your organs are inflamed or weakened”
“It tests for deficiencies and intolerances”
The way we describe Qest4 needs to
- be understandable
- stay within health claims legislation
- describe the function of each part of the
technology
- co-exist with our belief system
If we achieve this we can:
- market our practice effectively
- deal with regulators confidently
- gain client confidence
- encourage referrals
- save time on misunderstandings
In order to know how to describe our work we need to remind ourselves of the principles
behind natural health practice.
Two philosophies of health
Orthodox medical philosophy
compared to
Natural / Holistic health philosophy
Orthodox Medicine Philosophy(mainly secular, materialist in origin)- physical matter came first- life, thought and consciousness arise
‘randomly’ from matter- communication is limited to the 5 senses- diseases are ‘things’ to make war on
Why NOT to adopt this language:
- claiming a device can ‘diagnose or treat disease’ is a bad idea that may contravene health legislation
- it implies we are thinking about a model of health that cannot give lasting solutions
Holistic Health Philosophy(mostly influenced by spiritual / religious views of people and the universe)
- consciousness came before matter- thought is a creative process- ‘In the beginning was the Word’
Modern Science supports this view
Materialism is gradually being displaced as physics advances to show there is no ‘solid matter’ - just wave forms which transform constantly.
i.e. stuff disappears the more closely we look at it.

What follows from this view ?
- all living things are part of a connected field
- physical things follow from thought-forms
- that includes all symptoms and ‘diseases’
What follows from this view (2)
- mind is not the brain, but neurons are very real, and found in many parts of the body
- information actually ‘resides’ in a non-material field
- our personal minds access the information field according to our intentions
What follows from this view (3)
- communication is not limited to 5 senses- we can promote flow of information by
conscious clearing processes- a clear mind and a strong intention allows
the clear flow of high-quality information
Revisiting each part of the system
- client and practitioner- a situation (i.e. a health problem)- computer software- the system unit with a transmitter in it- a pair of electrical conductors and battery
The human components
- client seeks out the practitioner in response to a ‘problem’ and a desire for change
- a relationship begins, and becomes focused in the consultation
- this gives rise to a unique channel of the information field
Software
- a range of ‘signatures’, recorded in ‘Qest4 language’
- the encoding (or language) is the proprietary part of the system
- ‘signatures’ are simply representations of something, not a ‘breakdown’ of it
Running the test- system unit outputs a series of radio signals- this is: asking questions of the body-mind
system in the consultation ‘space’- receiving this ‘question’ is the quantum part
of the process- it’s not something the conscious mind can
analyse
The response circuit
- the body is a communicator for the mind- the circuit (handmasses) measures changes
in electrical response through the skin, as the signatures are output.
- outlying values come up in the test results on screen
The health condition (problem)This is the most interesting part.- client normally experiences it as ‘physical’- we are asking the ‘knowledge field’ that has
been created about what it knows to help achieve a goal of healing
Let’s look into this further..
Belief that dis-ease is ‘physical’ - tissue deterioration cannot be denied- but health condition does not exist in itself.- it’s a label to describe a series of actions or
behaviors.- in a living organism, actions are under the
control of thoughts, conscious or unconscious.
How do thoughts create ‘diseases’
- every decision has an implication- decisions taken with fear rather than love as
the guide, cause a suppression.- the originating thought may have been last
week, last year, or 4 generations back.- this will return in some form later.
The body-mind ‘knows’ - causative factors can be revealed by intuitive
processes- 98% of our thoughts are unconscious- the body is the unconscious mind- mind is a connected field, not a separated
brain, so the system and the practitioner amplify and guide this process
How does healing proceed ?
- our tests investigate the body’s ‘knowing’- imprinted remedies feed back the
informational signatures that provoked a reaction.
- this is the homeopathic approach, fully understood: giving a new informational pattern to align to.
How important is intention here ?
- strength and clarity of the joint intention might be said to be everything
- but if that was enough in practice, none of us would be here.
- the methodology, equipment and process is what grounds and holds the changes in place for people initially.
Where do medicines fit in ?
- physical support forms part of almost every practice
- it is rare that clients are ready to work on the pure information level
- all medicines from strongest drugs to gentle lifestyle and diet changes have a place
Your knowledge
Its repeatedly observed that the greater the practitioners knowledge of a subject, the better the test results around that subject area.
This has implications for practice, and for CPD.
Applying this in your practice
- there are no right or wrong tests to use, but consider your motivation for choosing
- helping client to set aside pre-judgements about their condition improves results
- grounding a strong belief in your method let’s the right people find you
Qest4 instead of lab. tests ?
- requires a strong field to be created around blood chemistry.
- strong practitioner knowledge and client desire to know, on some level.
- setup a test (ie choose a set of symbols) based on your best understanding of the subject, or follow someone else.
A word about $$$- “I noticed that the more people paid, the
quicker they got better.” - Contrast this with the practitioner who ‘needs
the clients to come back’- An exchange is essential- Greed, fear or devaluing your work will all
act to reduce the potential for healing
Experimenting
- Energetic testing allows for many possibilities.
- Surrogate and remote testing become increasingly popular.
- What cautions are wise to observe ?
“A man cannot step into the same river twiceFor it’s not the same river and its not the same man”
Heraclitus
Repeatability
Why energetic tests never repeat
- tests are about my relationship to my condition, which evolves continually
- reveal more about ‘direction of travel’ than ‘steady state’
- at the mind level, shift is immediate- life is ‘emergent’, not reducible to historic
rules (Karl Popper)
Main points of new language- avoiding the language of disease protects
and enhances your practice- recognising connection between minds and
the equivalence of body and mind explains how all forms of energetic testing can work
- there is no need to ever feel awkward about ‘repeatability’ - it’s a fantasy !
Inspirational definitions for health ‘Healing is the result of relinquishing all attempts to use the body lovelessly.”
“Health is nothing more than united purpose. If the body is brought under the purpose of the mind, it becomes whole because the mind’s purpose is one.”Source: A Course in Miracles
