TASK 2: MAKING A PENNANT
Pennant 1
24cm
10cm
Pennant 2
8cm
30cm
Pennant 3
40cm
6cm
To find the perimeter, first find the unknown side with Pythagoras
=49.5cm
=69cm
=86.4cm
Pennant 1= 49.5 x 23.5=1163.25
Pennant 2= 69 x 23.5=1621.5
Pennant 3= 86.4 x 23.5=2030.4
I would choose to manufacture Pennant 1 because it is cheaper to make.
TASK 3: DIVIDING LAND To find the percentage, I will find the fraction first
Section 18 Owners:
Wong-1/4 (25%)
Tsoi-To Find the fraction of Tsoi, find how much lands of Tsoi apply to Wong
Tsoi-
Ho- Since Ho is equivalent to Tso, which means Ho is also (6.25%)
Li- To find the fraction of Li, first find how much lands of Li apply to Ho/Tsoi
Li-
Ng- To find the fraction of Ng, first find how much lands of Ho/Tsoi apply to Ng.
Ng-
Cheun- To find the fraction of Cheun, first find how much lands of Li apply to Cheun
Cheun-
Tse- To find the fraction of Tse, first find how much lands of Li apply to Tse.
Tse-
Chan- To find the fraction of Chan, first find how many lands of Li applies to Chan
Section 19:
Ko- To find the fraction of Ko, first find how much land of Wong and Ho (from Section 18) apply to Ko
Ko-
Hui- To find the fraction of Hui, first find how much land of Li (from section 18) apply to Hui.
Hui-
Smith- To find the fraction of Smith, first find how many lands of Ho and Li apply to Smith.
Smith-
Leung- To find the fraction of Leung, first find how much land of Ho and Li applies to Leung
Leung- (18.75%)
