Installation guidelines
Solid Material
Drill a hole to the size and embedment required.Water must be removed prior to cleaning. In case of diamond drilled holes, the drill hole must be roughened.
Starting from the rear of the hole, blow the hole clean with compressed air or a hand pump according to installation instructions atleast two times. If the rear of the drill hole cannot be reached an extensionmust be used. The hand pump is allowed for anchor sizes up to drill holediameter 20 mm.
Check brush diameter according to installation instructionsseen on the next page. Brush the hole with an appropriate sized wirebrush a minimum of two times. If the rear of the drill hole cannot bereached by brush an extension must be used.
Please repeat procedure two.4

1 Attach a supplied static mixing nozzle to thecartridge and load the cartridge into the correctdispensing tool. For every working interruptionlonger than the recommended gel time (as seenon table setting time) as well as for newcartridges, a new static-mixer must be used.
Prior to inserting the threaded rod into thefilled hole, the position of the embedment depthmust be marked on the anchor rods or rebar.
Prior to dispensing into the anchor hole, squeeze out a minimum of 10cm until the mortarshows a consistent colour.
Fill the cleaned hole approximately two-thirdswith adhesive starting from the rear of the hole.Slowly withdraw the static mixing nozzle as thehole fills to avoid creating air pockets. Forembedments larger than 190 mm an extensionnozzle must be used. For overhead and horizontalinstallation with a diameter larger than 20 mm, usea piston plug and extension nozzle. Observe gel-working times.

7
6
5 Push the threaded rod or reinforcing bar intothe hole while turning slightly to ensurepositive distribution of the adhesive until theembedment depth is reached. The rod or rebarshould be free of dirt, grease, oil or otherforeign material.
Allow the adhesive to cure to the specified time prior to applying any load or torque. Donot move or load the anchor until it is fullycured.
After full curing, the fixture can be installed. Make sure the max. torque is notexceeded. Ensure that the anchor is fullyseated at the bottom of the hole (in case thethreaded rod is not marked) and that excessmortar is visible at the top of the hole. If theserequirements are not maintained, theapplication has to be renewed.
NOTE: look for more installation informationlike wire brush diameters, installation torqueetc. further in this datasheet.
