You can now create new requests off of cases that have already been entered into Proxsys using the Patient LookupPatient Lookup function.

New Updates at Proxsys• Changes to the “New Request” Form:
• Contact Phone Number field has been relabeled as Patient Phone Number to help avoid confusion as to which number is requested.• The Alternative Contact Number field has been given a maximum length of 30 characters.
• Changes to “Patient Lookup” function:• A new column has been added to show active alerts that are present on the record being located through Patient Lookup.
New Updates at Proxsys• Changes to “Edit Request” view:
• Pre-Registration Attachments has been renamed to “Attachments”• An “Alert” button has been added that shows the number of active alerts and the number of total alerts that have been created for the case.• Buttons to open the “Order” and “Record” for the patient have also been added to the “Edit Request” view.
• Changes to “Full Record” view:• The Notes section of the “Full Record” view have been reworked in order to hold the formatting used when the notes were entered into the New Request form.

New Updates at Proxsys• Changes to “Procedure Code” Lookup:
• Since not all facilities are able to perform all the procedure codes that are listed in the CPT code book, facilities now have the option of excluding certain procedures from being selecting in the “Procedure Code” look up section.• The procedure codes that have been excluded by the facility will be listed in red and CAM will not allow you to select them. This will help with any confusion over which code a facility prefers when ordering.
