Preamble:
Faith & Hope Foundation is a registered NPO/PBO in Ga-Rankuwa. It was founded in the June 2013. The foundation’s participation, education, advocacy, research and leadership programs are made possible by individuals from the organization. We seek out credible partners who have a good reputation in the area and we contribute our own resources to the initiative. We plan to work closely with these partners to monitor and evaluate the progress of the project according to pre-defined objectives and goals. All our project and programmes are in the interest of the community’s benefit and they are viable in the long term. They also have measurable output which can be used upfront and used for future evaluation. We plan to ensure ongoing success and delivery to beneficiaries.
Research:
After an intense research was completed, the findings were as follows:
Services needed at Centre that make it enhance youth empowerment, education and employment
Counselling services for young people with various needs on issues of reproductive health, substance abuse and employment interventions
Referral services to young people’s cases that require in depth solutions to their needs.
Trainings on various aspects of youth development based on the thematic areas.
Consultancy interventions to various youth led organizations requiring expert advice on organization, and project management
Giving of timely and relevant information on up to date happening on the development world
Promotion of aspect of youth participation in activities geared towards societal development
Outreach Programs
The Faith & Hope Youth Development Centre needs to be more than a facility where advice is sought – it needs to engage with community members on an outreach basis where and when required. The Faith & Hope Youth Development Centre will maintain an active presence in schools, places of worship, community organizations or wherever youth development needs to be promoted and fostered – the community outreach programmed. The centre outreach will extend throughout the community, working closely with education, social services, the business community and other related stakeholders to heighten awareness of all available support services, nurture an entrepreneurial culture and create options for people in their home communities.

OUR CHEER DRUMMIES
OUR TEAM OF CHAMPIONS 2013 & 2015/2016 and 2018
The problems we are encountering are as follows:
1.1.1 Bigger venue that can accommodate everyone as the number of
our beneficiaries increasing all the time.
1.1.2 Lack of funding and financial assistance denies us the opportunity
to do more for our community.
1.1.3 Need for better security for our centre.
1.1.4 Lack of sporting facilities and recreational facilities denies
beneficiaries to achieve their goals
1.1.5 Lack of transport also delays our process to succeed, as we need
transport to travel to different places for our activities such as
sporting events, campaigns and to take our children to school.
1.1.6 Lack of support from the parents also makes our work difficult, hey
just drop the children at the centre and forget about them.
1.1.7 Our beneficiaries come from all over Ga-Rankuwa and
surrounding areas some travels long distance before they get to
the foundation we have to provide transports for them.
