A place for optimal raw material handling.
Practical manufacturing solutions.
The know-how in Reimelt's sheet metal manu-facturing is evident in every detail. For exam-ple the transition from a cylindrical hopperpiece to a conical piece is designed with aradius. This assures an optimal product-flowand ease of cleaning of the hopper.
Reimelt adheres strictly to the EHEDG orga-nization guidelines: welded seams in contactwith product are always ground flat. Hoppercorners are designed to be without weldedseams or bolted connections and have a radi-us of over 3 mm.
Reimelt has many years of experience in theproduction of key components for the indu-stry. This is also apparent in the production of containers and vessels. Our standard pro-duct range includes the multipurpose vessels, container systems for automatic or manualhandling or storage hoppers, with and with-out discharge and metering systems.
The Reimelt construction and manufacturingcompetence is apparent with the multipur-pose vessels, for example the dry solids mixerfor batch operations. It is a single-shaft verti-cal mixer. Its slowly rotating spiral tool assu-res a gentle, efficient mixing without energyinput into the product.

Know-how for shining results.
The excellent surface quality of Reimeltmetal products begins before processing:Through the utilization of plastic coveredsheet metals, damages to the surfaces,e.g. by scratches, are almost impossible.
The most varied surface processes are availa-ble for our customers:
• Bead-blasting• Super-finishing• Pickling• Manual polishing• Machine polishing• Electro-polishing• Coating

Electro-polished surfaces with a surface roughness of 0.05 to 0.15 µm (Basic material1.4301 IIIc) meet the highest standards forhygiene and appearance. And with both coatings, PTFE or Poly-Seal, there is no measurable surface roughness.

Comprehensive experience and the use of thecutting-edge technology is the basis for extra-ordinary manufacturing quality. Reimelt metalproducts are recognizable at first glance - bythe perfectly executed surfaces and weldingseams.
Round hoppers are manufactured with aninert-gas welding unit with an optically gui-ded welding process, which assures a techni-cally and optically outstanding welded seam. The production of cylindrical and conical hop-pers is achieved through use of a linear wel-ding unit. Special metal-sheet forming unitswith conical rollers enable a gentle to the sur-face manufacturing of cones.
