Preventive maintenance performs the maintenance activities based on approved schedule plan. Checks for the availability of resources for every site before PM activities. If resources are not available, PM can be rescheduled. Subco Cluster TL prepare and submit schedule and site list. See 5.2.1
Nokia Regional FLM will verify the schedule based on site priorities, granularities, resources, site permit and submission date.
Nokia Regional FLM give approval on schedule plan. And Subco Cluster TL prepare site permit. If permission not granted, the revert back to reschedule process to find new date or escalation to high level to find the solution or permission.
Preventive maintenance can be done if the permission is granted from all related parties and departments. On site PM done by Subco FLM Engineer with carrying on PM checklist and taking proper evidence on checklist item
Subco FLM Engineer submit PM Report to Subco Cluster TL.
Subco Cluster TL collect and verify PM Report
Nokia Regional FLM give approval on PM Report after verifying checklist item, evidence, performed date of PM and validity of PM Reports.
Subco Cluster TL store all PM Reports to PM database and submit final PM reports to Nokia Regional FLM team with complete sign documents, PM Reports summary and remaining PM punch list

5.2 WI Description
5.2.1 Schedule Submission and Site list
Preventive maintenance is carried out on regular scheduled basis as agreed with H3I. Depending on equipment requirements, regular routine preventive maintenance may be carried out on the basis of:
Daily maintenance schedule Weekly maintenance schedule Monthly maintenance schedule Quarterly maintenance schedule Annual or bi-annual maintenance schedule
Not all equipment requires these regular schedules and each schedule may have a different requirement .
Preventive maintenance team are required to perform the level of maintenance schedule required depending on the equipment. Specialist subcos may be required to perform higher technical level maintenance
FLM team performs the maintenance activities based on planned schedule. Subco TL plans the schedule in advance (ideally monthly in advance), checking the maintenance schedule against the availability of resources for every area before planning maintenance activities. If resources are not available, maintenance can be rescheduled and plan work is informed to reschedule accordingly.
Subco Helpdesk and Field Resource should be aware of the PM schedule and be aware of the requirements. Two men may be required for certain site visits and activity
Schedule plan contain granularities check of network element which agreed by customer. Site list schedule will contain site list planned to be checked in within certain period basis to comply with critical site infrastructure/support equipment requirements.
Example of equipment based schedule plan agreed as below although the schedule may be determined by the site priority which supersedes the equipment requirements,

5.2.2 Schedule Verification
Schedule verification shall be performed by Nokia Regional FLM / RMC to ensure PM site granularities meet the time and resources available to perform PM. After verification done by Nokia Regional FLM and approval given, Subco Cluster TL will process with site permit submission
5.2.3 On Site Preventive Maintenance and Reporting
On Site preventive maintenance is to check the overall status of the network for the proper functioning. Every network element installed has a different configuration, for instance the amount of carriers used, the sectors for each BTS site and the links used is different for every network element. It is important to have this information to understand the work level require and will determine the timescales required to carry out the PM activity on all equipment as per the schedule.
Preventive Maintenance checklist documents shall be prepared and completed during on site PM activity. Evidence picture shall be taken for each corresponding item in PM checklist by FLM Engineer.
Checklist is completed when the check on the network element has been performed according to its network configuration. When no faulty symptoms or occurrences of alarm are found, the result can be dispatched to the related department to describe that the network element is stable. Whenever required a TT will be raised for faults found during the visit and they will be corrected, time, spares and tools permitting. Service affecting faults will be corrected during the visit. Any outstanding faults will be scheduled for correction with the SLA
Subco Cluster TL will collect all sites PM Reports from Subco FLM Engineer.
5.2.4 PM Report Verification
Subco Cluster TL will collect all sites PM Reports from Subco FLM Engineer. Data result from Subco FLM Engineer should be verified to compare with data configuration. Final report is considered to be the data report.
Verification on inspection date, site report, etc needed as report shall be considered as valid and trusty reports. A valid evidence photograph corresponding to PM checklist item shall be there, otherwise PM Report will be sent back to Subco FLM Engineer to take proper evidence
