Everyone  in  Downtown  Parker  Guaranteed  the  Best  Parking  Spot        Parker:  The  Parker  Area  Chamber  of  Commerce  introduced  a  new  complimentary  valet  parking  service  in  Old  Town  Parker  this  past  weekend.  This  new  service  provides  a  creative  new  solution  to  an  old  problem.    Dennis  Houston,  President  and  CEO  of  the  Parker  Area  Chamber  of  Commerce,  said  “for  years  the  downtown  area  has  faced  challenges  with  enough  available  parking  during  peak  weekend  hours  and  the  chamber  wanted  to  do  something  about  it  by  taking  action  with  this  solution.”  Houston   went   on   to   say   "the   Chamber   has   partnered   with   the   downtown   business  community,   the   Town  of   Parker   and  Rocky  Mountain  Valet   to   bring   the   new   service   to   the  people  who  go  to  the  restaurants,  retail  shops  and  pubs  on  weekends.”    The   complimentary   valet   service   is   available   on   Friday   and   Saturday   evenings   starting   at  5:00pm.   The   drop   off   and   pick   up   location   is   on   the   northeast   corner   of   Mainstreet   and  Victorian  Way  across  the  street  from  O’Brien  Park.  Although  there  is  no  charge  for  the  service,  tips  are  suggested  for  the  valet  drivers  for  good  service.  The  valet  service  will  be  a  90-­‐day  trial  period  for  the  months  of  October,  November  and  December.  The  success  of  the  program  and  the  customer  demand  will  be  assessed  at  the  end  of  December.    For  more  details,  the  public  can  contact  the  Parker  Area  Chamber  of  Commerce  office  at  303-­‐841-­‐4268.            The  Parker  Area  Chamber  of  Commerce  is  the  voice  of  business  for  commerce  and  entrepreneurs   in  the  south  metro  Denver  region.  The  Chamber   is  a  place   for  everyone  who  shares  the  desire  to   improve  the  community  and  the  region.  The  chamber  exists   to   create   a   positive   impact   on   our   community,   create   a   strong   local   economy   via   business,   commerce   and  entrepreneurship,  connect  businesses  through  networking  and  education,  promote  the  community  through  tourism  and  events  and  represent  the  interests  of  business  with  government  and  public  policy.    Located  in  the  heart  of  northern  Douglas  County,  we   are   uniquely   situated   between   Colorado's  two   largest   cities:   Denver   and   Colorado   Springs.   The   Parker   Area   Chamber   of  Commerce  is  located  at  19590  E.  Mainstreet;  Parker,  Colorado;  80138
