Romancing Singapore Festival
• 2002 -started a government campaign by Claire Chang; aimed at making people more romantic
• 2005, Became a private sector initiative – to sculpt the environment by engaging commercial entities – to provide social interaction opportunities among singles.
• 2006, RS seeks to engage the commercial employers to cultivate group dating as a lifestyle and balanced work life among the single staff.
• Through 2005-2007, all RS initiatives are coordinated and managed by the Managing Agent, Andrew Chow

• At party, a male participant will be handed out a randomly selected key while the ladies will each get a lock.
• The idea is for the guys to work through the crowd of girls, trying out every lock in search of the one that will be opened by his key.
• Although successfully opening a hidden lock seems to be the name of the game, the underlying objective is to meet new people, armed with the valid excuse of needing to find the right lock.
• At party, a male participant will be handed out a randomly selected key while the ladies will each get a lock.
• The idea is for the guys to work through the crowd of girls, trying out every lock in search of the one that will be opened by his key.
