Godelius X:Field Robots for
unstructured environments
An unstructured environment is a work zone within the reach of a fixed or mobile robot, whose objectives and the interaction environment are not pre-programmable This implies that robot operations can not be controlled by position-oriented algorithms, these are force-oriented controls. If there are more than one robot or robotic arm and people in the area, the robot must be capable of avoiding collision risks and therefore, must have control strategies with limited forces.
