WOLF BLITZER(BORN MARCH 22, 1948)
The broadcaster
WOLF BLITZERIs a journalist and television anchor.
He began his journalism career in the early 1970s in the Tel
Aviv bureau of the Reuters news agency.
He was hired as a Washington correspondent for the English
language Israeli newspaper after impressing its editor, Ari Rath.
Blitzer worked with Jerusalem Post until 1990, covering both
American politics and developments in the Middle East.
He joined CNN in 1990 and worked as the cable network’s
military affairs reporter.
CONT…From 1992 to 1999 was chosen to be the CNN’s White House
Correspondent because of his good work.
In 1998, he hosted a CNN Sunday morning interview program Late
Edition with Wolf Blitzer which was aired in over 180 countries.
In 1999, he had his first assignment as an anchor on the daily
newscast The World Today.
Later he started anchoring his own show, Wolf Blitzer Reports in
2000.
His show, Wolf Blitzer Reports was replaced by The Situation room
where he is currently working, he is also the current host of CNN
Newsroom and CNN’s lead political anchor.

DAN RATHER(BORN OCTOBER 31,
1931)
American journalist and
former CBS news anchor.
RATHERHe interviewed the politically powerful, and exposed government cover-ups.
Rather had his meticulous newsgathering method.
Rather reported the assassination of the U.S. President John F. Kennedy, and
this brought him to the attention of CBS News management, which rewarded
him with the network’s White House correspondent position in 1964.
In 1970, he had the assignment as primary anchor for the CBS Sunday Night
News.
In 1974, Rather took the assignment of chief correspondent for the
documentary series CBS Reports following President Nixon’s resignation.
Rather made his first broadcast on March 9, 1981 upon Cronkite’s retirement.

Rather had a significantly different style of reporting the
news, for example; he wrapped up his news with a phrase,
‘that`s part of our world tonight.’
Also the way he dressed, e.g during the Soviet war in
Afghanistan, Rather was on camera wearing a traditional
Mujahideen headdress and garments.

ANDERSON COOPER(BORN JUNE 3, 1967
The broadcast journalist
COOPER
Cooper is known as one of the most influential broadcast journalist.
He travels to report on breaking news and interviews the rich and powerful
people.
Cooper was first known as a reporter for CNN during Hurricane Katrina.
Many enjoy watching his newscast because of his everyman persona,
combined with his classic attractiveness. His attitudes are one of his most
powerful assets as a journalist.
Though, he had no qualifications for journalistic education, he chose to
pursue a carrier in journalism which is a great influence to others; he shows
them that one can follow his heart and do what you are best at even though
you don`t have any formal qualification.

On September 8, 2003, he was made anchor of Anderson

Russert was a senior vice president at NBC News Washington bureau chief
and also hosted an eponymous CNBC/MSNBC weekend interview program.
He was a frequent correspondent and guest on NBC's The Today Show and
Hardball.
During the 2008 U.S. presidential election, Russert covered several
presidential elections, and he presented the NBC News/Wall Street Journal
survey on the NBC Night News
In 2008, Russert was added in the list of the most influential people in the

British-Iranian journalist and
television host.
AMANPOUR
Is the Chief International Correspondent for CNN and host of
CNN International's nightly interview program Amanpour. She is also a Global Affairs Anchor of ABC News.
Amanpour was hired by CNN on the foreign desk in Atlanta, Georgia, as an entry-level desk assistant in 1983.
Her first major assignment was covering the Iran-Iraq War, which led to her being transferred in 1986 to Eastern Europe to report on the fall of European communism.
In 1989, she was assigned to work in Frankfurt, Germany, where she reported on the democratic revolutions sweeping Eastern Europe at the time.

In 1990, she served as a correspondent for CNN's New York bureau.
Amanpour gained a reputation for being fearless during the Gulf
and Bosnian wars and for reporting from conflict areas.
From 1992 to 2010, Amanpour was CNN's chief international

interview program that aired 2009–2010.she was the first international correspondent to interview British Prime Minister Tony Blair, French President Jacques Chirac, and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.
