What are points?A form of service, begun in 2005, to reward RotaryFoundation donors who contribute to the Annual Fund,Polio Fund, or Grant Funds.
Individuals, clubs, and districts, receive oneFoundation recognition point for each dollarcontributed !
Contributions to the Foundation’s Permanent Fund,or Endowment, are not eligible for points; thesefunds are invested.

How are points service?
donors can transfer points to help others achieve Paul Harris Fellowship recognition,
individuals donors are the only ones authorized to transferFoundation recognition points from their individual account,
club presidents are the only ones authorized to transfer Foundation recognition points from club accounts, and
district governors are the only ones authorized to transferFoundation recognition points from district accounts.
Individuals may not transfer points to a club or district, but clubs and districts may transfer points to individuals.
Who keeps track of points?
The Rotary International Foundation keeps current records, accessible via a Club Recognition Summary, which includes
each member’s Foundation recognition amount,
each member’s available Foundation recognition points,
each member’s current Paul Harris Fellow level, and
each member’s dates of Paul Harris recognitions.

Paul Harris Recognition Opportunities
Paul Harris Fellowshiphonors individuals, or honoraria, for $1,000 or more contributionto annual, polio, world, or grant funds, including
hard-cover display, gold-engraved certificate, and Paul Harris pin, and attractive ribbon-bound medallion, available.
Paul Harris Recognition Opportunities
Paul Harris Certificate of Appreciation honors businesses, or organizational donors, for $1,000 contributions. Paul Harris Fellowships can only be presented to individuals.
Multiple Paul Harris Fellowships multiple $1,000 increments of giving, to $10,000 five (5) sapphire levels and three (3) ruby levels.
Paul Harris Society minimum $1,000 annually for 10 years, or $10,000
Do the Rotary Foundation’savailable recognition points increase giving?
Yes, matching monetary contributions with Foundation recognition points helps a club:
meet their Annual Fund goals, Polio Fund goals, Major Gifts and Endowment Fund goals, and overall, increases Paul Harris Fellowship awareness.
Death Rules
Can a deceased receive a Paul Harris Fellowship?
Yes, definitely, when a donor chooses to recognize a deceased person,it is referred to as a Memorial Paul Harris Fellow!
Are available recognition points transferable at death? No, recognition points expire at death, except in cases where the
deceased is a Major Donor; in which case, the recognition points passto surviving spouse or partner by right-of-survivorship.
