June 8-9, 2012 – MDA participated in the 3-rd International Congress “ Healthcare in Russian Federation, CIS and Europe”. Among other topics prevention of NCDs and living with DM were discussed.

August 19-27, 2012 – MDA participated in the action “The Wave of Health” organized by Charity fund facilitate implementation of the "League of Nation's Health" by the great Russian river Volga route "Samara - Astrakhan - Saratov - Volgograd - Samara“. Many events for patients and HCPs were organized during the cruise along the Volga river.

Tasks share:• diagnosis, counseling and treatment for children with congenital heart disease, diabetes, impaired vision, speech, and other chronic illnesses;

• scientific, practical and educational activities aimed at preventing disease and avoiding harmful habits;• Conduct mass health education activities, express diagnostics and counseling for prevention and treatment of diseases.• Carrying out activities aimed at promoting unpaid voluntary blood donation and awareness of real participation

• Organisation of events nationwide information and educational program "Diabetes: Time for Action" (screening as part of the expedition mobile diabetes center, round tables).

Patient Organizations and Medical Society in Russia To the UNO Political Declaration on NCDs
