The Focus on Energy symbol only designates that the contractor is registered with Focus as a trade ally, not that the homeowner is guaranteed the Focus incentive. The Me2 program is not responsible for ensuring Focus incentives for any project. Homeowners are responsible for

The list of "participating consultants and contractors" for the Me2 program are provided as an informational service only. Neither Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation (WECC) or any other public or private party associated with the Me2 program, including but not limited to the City of Milwaukee, by the publication or sharing of this list is (a) endorsing, recommending or referring any specific consultant or contractor, (b) making any representation or warranty regarding the qualifications, licensing, products or workmanship of any consultant or contractor, (c) making any warranty regarding the consultant's or contractor's work (including any estimates of potential energy savings) or products and their expected performance purchased from consultants or contractors, and (d) accepting any liability that may be alleged to arise from the work of any listed consultant or contractor on a customer project or from any reliance on any claims, statements or other descriptions regarding a consultant's or contractor's certifications, licenses, qualifications or products. Such claims, statements and other descriptions are made solely by the consultant or contractor. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to investigate and determine the technical capabilities and skill of the listed consultant and/or contractor prior to entering into an independent contract for services provided by that consultant or contractor. The agreement or contract between a program participating consultant or contractor and a program participant is a private agreement or contract solely between the participant and consultant or contractor to which the program is not a party, endorser or guarantor, either expressly or implicitly.
