HikingThere are around 500 km of marked hiking path and routes, whichstretch over the entire region. Naturally, the Rofan cable car in Maurach and the Karwendel cablecar in Pertisau are open daily during the summer month for avidhikers and diverse mountain restaurants and huts cordially inviteyou to have a rest and take it easy.

Achensee: navigation et chemin de fer à crémaillèreLes hôtes qui se rendent à l’Achensee principalement à cause de labeauté de la nature, préférant plutôt céder le sport à d’autres,peuvent confortablement laisser défiler le paysage devant eux,depuis le train à crémaillère et à vapeur le plus ancien d’Europe.Les bateaux à vapeur de la ligne de navigation de l’Achenseetransportent directement les vacanciers d’une localité à l’autre.

Evidemment les passionnés de culture trouvent aussi à leur goûtdans cette région. L’histoire captivante de l’obtention de l’huile ty-rolienne que remonte à plus de 100 ans peut être vécue de très prèsà Pertisau. Les notes du musée local Sixenhof à Achenkirch remontent jusqu’au14ème siècle et révèlent le style de vie et le monde du travail de lavallée de Achen.Le bijou le plus récent ou bord du lac Achensee est le musée Not-burga à Eben, qui contient les documents les plus anciens sur lepatron unique du Tyrol, ainsi que des tableaux et des statuesrestaurés de l’époque baroque. Juste à côté, s’élève l’églisebaroque Notburga. Ne pas oublier de passer par le musée nou-vellement ouvert “Achenseer Museumswelt” avec son Traktoreum.

HardlopenDe hardloopregio Achensee is met in totaal 23 looptrajecten en metca. 183 km goed aangegeven looppaden voorzien!

Achensee scheepvaart en Achensee tandradbaanGasten die voornamelijk voor het natuurschoon van het gebiedrond de Achensee komen en die de sport liever aan anderen over-laten, kunnen het landschap comfortabel vanaf Europa’s oudstestoomtandradbaan aan zich voorbij laten trekken. De boten van deAchensee-scheepvaart brengen gasten via een directe verbindingnaar hun bestemming.

Natuurlijk komen ook gasten die geinteresseerd zijn in cultuurniets te kort. De spannende geschiedenis van de winning van deTiroolse steenolie, die meer dan 100 jaar oud is, kunt u van heeldichtbij meemaken in de nieuwe Steinöl-Vitalberg in Pertisau. Deaantekeningen in het Heimatmuseum Sixenhof in Achenkirch gaanterug tot in de 14e eeuw. Dit museum gunt u een blik in de levens-wijze en de arbeidswereld van het Achental.
