Kentucky's new department of Mental Health will open its offices in Louisville soon after it is activated July 1.

Dr. Frank M. Gaines, Jr., to-day announced the department will be located in the same building that now houses the State Department of Health. t)'r. Gaines, present director of the Division of Hospitals and Men-tal Hygiene, will be named commissioner of the new de-partment by Governor Wether-by late this month.
