Who we are!
Habitat International
• Founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller• Inspired by Clarence Jordan• Established the principle of
“partnership housing” and affordable homes• Nonprofit with no interest loans to
homeowners
Habitat International
Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can
experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

Campus Chapters (Like Us)
Campus Chapters exist for four reasons• Building• Fundraising• Advocating• Education
Building
Habitat centers around building and rehabilitating affordable, decent housing
Campus chapters help with this goal by:• Building with local affiliates• Participating in Collegiate Challenge
Fundraising
There are various ways for campus chapters raise funds, but donations are made:
• Directly to Habitat International• To local affiliates• Through tithing
Advocating
The world needs to be aware of the need for affordable housing
Substandard housing is a problem many people simply are not aware of
Education
By informing people about Habitat for Humanity more can be done
Most people can agree that everyone deserves a good home
By knowing about and helping Habitat they can provide that

Building Chairperson: Arranges build projects with Stillwater H4H, updates chapter on build dates, and recruits workers for Elite Repeat and Restore

Advocacy Chairperson: Works with Publicity Chairperson to raise awareness about H4H, organizes and runs Shack-a-thon and Into the Streets and Big Event
Available Positions
Publicity Chairperson: Places notices in Society Squares, arranges the posting of flyers and chalking for events, takes photographs at events, and submits articles for local newspapers e.g. the O’Colly, Daily Oklahoman, and the Tulsa World

Fundraising Chairperson: Organizes and runs various fundraisers such as Homecoming, Habitat Week, and Lego Contest
Upcoming Events
• Builds: Saturday mornings at 8• International Habitat Day: October 5th
– Eat at Pita Pit any time that day and we get 10%
