Official Pacific Northwest District Key Club Lieutenant Governor Newsletter Division 60/62—Thuy Nguyen
Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower
Greetings, 挨拶, Saludo, 인사말, Gruß, Chao,
Through the lenses of a pessimistic:
They are here. The rustle of papers, the dead silence of test periods,
and the glistening beads of sweat as the teachers speed through
the ten centuries old theories of so and so…are here. School works
and a protracted list of extracurricular activities are stacking
against my odds!
Through the lenses of an optimistic:
Even though, things are a little tilted on the hectic side. The silver
lining is Key Club’s juncture is here!
Indeed, these months are the most festive time in Key Club’s year.
Recruiting members become a common hot topic among the
school, divisional, and district boards. Information regarding Key
Club and its activities become conducive in attracting students’
attention and recognition. Important prospective fundraisers and
traditional Key Club projects presented in this newsletter are efforts
to quench the future and present members’ thirst for knowledge.
And like usual, I’ll formally sign off with an inspiring quote
“If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything
is ready, we shall never begin.”

First Impression
Awe, yummiest cookies I’ve
ever seen. iBuy. iBuy. iBuy
What the … ?
Point of RANTING:
The point of this rant is to acknowledge the club’s officers as well as the key clubbers about the importance of good communication. A club’s strength depends heavily on its unity, the faith and trust that its members invest in its officers. Unfortunately, these values are not ever freely given. Leaders must skillfully whet themselves into observant and practical individuals, who can quickly discern and assist their members’ needs. Be that as it may, success will be precluded without the mutual efforts coming from both the key clubbers and their authorities. Official club members are the rich soil that Key Club is built upon and there aren’t too many reminders regarding such an important statement. Enlighten your members of their essentiality! It will most likely arouse eccentricity among the clubbers and commence solidarity in your club. Hint: All this could be done with just one pleasant “first impression”.
The rant: According to a scientific research, it takes approximately ten good impressions to discard the negative judgments that one former bad impression had caused. Number 10 might not have big enough teeth to scare some of you guys out there but understand that there are people that you will only be able to acquaint with once.

In addition to the Auntie Anne’s fundraiser, these lovely and
affordable lollypops are featured as one of our new
fundraising projects. The idea embarked during a casual
collaboration with members of the Russeville Kiwanis Club and
David Douglas High School’s Key Club’s Kiwanis Advisor: Dave
