A stunning location in an area of outstanding natural beauty
Welcome to our guide to Noss on Dart Marina. Premier is dedicated to providing first-class marinas, but we would caution that Noss on Dart is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment; this means that at the time of your stay, our usual Premier standard may be compromised. If you are planning to visit Noss on Dart, please call ahead to find out about availability and about our plans for the site.
Set on the sunny eastern bank of the River Dart, in a secluded area of outstanding natural beauty and just minutes from Dartmouth town, Noss Marina offers easy access to some of the most beautiful anchorages and ports in Devon. Step into amazing woodland walks along the Dart Valley Trail, go wildlife spotting, or sample the delights of the local festivals and regattas.

Noss on Dart Marina
With stunning views across the estuary, woodland walks, and an abundance of wildlife, this marina makes a perfect haven of peace and tranquillity. Add a full service boatyard, berth holder facilities and a friendly team, and you have your ideal berth.
This charming marina location offers a great start point from which to experience the delights of the River Dart and the south western peninsular. Sail up river and explore the many creeks and beautiful villages and towns, such as Dittisham and Totnes, making sure
to visit Sharpham Vineyard for some cheese and wine. Hop on the ferry at Kingswear and spend a day exploring the castle and the winding streets of Dartmouth; enjoy the food and music festivals, royal regattas, arts and crafts and the theatre. There is something going on all
year round in this historic naval town. Or, just 10 minutes away, there’s Greenway House and Garden, the beloved holiday home of the famous and much loved author Agatha Christie.

Finding Noss on Dart
By road When travelling by road from the North, take the M5 which becomes the A38 just after Exeter. At Kenn, the road splits. Take the left hand fork for the A380 and Newton Abbot. Continue on the A380 past Newton Abbot, Torquay and Paignton until it becomes the A3022. Head toward Brixham and then turn right onto the A379 to Kingswear. At Hillhead, ignore the left hand turn to Kingswear and the Lower Ferry to Dartmouth.
Instead, follow the road toward the Higher Ferry to Dartmouth. The entrance to Noss Marina is on the right as you descend travelling toward the ferry.
Travelling from the West take the A38 until you reach the junction with the A385. Follow the A385 through Totnes and into Paignton until it joins the A3022 then follow the directions above.
By rail Totnes is the nearest mainline station. From here, take a taxi to the marina (a 30 minute drive). Alternatively, take a train to Paignton and catch a historic steam train to Kingswear Station (check timetable).
By seaNoss Marina is situated on the eastern bank of the River Dart. At the harbour entrance follow the starboard channel markers.
The River Dart is a popular and busy river and should be navigated with care, at a maximum speed of 6 knots. All entrance piles are lit. After entering the River Dart, pass the Lower and Higher car ferries. Noss Marina is then on the starboard side a little way above the Higher Ferry. On approaching the marina, please call reception on VHF Ch.80 or 01803 839 087.
