  • September 2010 new school opens on Thomas Sumpter site
  • September 2011 target date for High Ridge Sports Academy
  • Target dates for other schools to be agreed

  • 80m budget
  • 72.5m design and build
  • 7.5m ICT
  • Council has committed 1.5m for added value facilities
  • We are looking for additional partnership funding to either enhance school provision or provide additional facilities located on school sites for community use and access
  • Each school will be designed to expand or add on facilities at a later stage

  • Major refurbishment and new build at Brumby Engineering College

  • New build and major refurbishment at Foxhills (Ftc) Technology College
  • New build and major refurbishment at High Ridge Specialist Sports College
  • Third Wave
  • New build and major refurbishment at Frederick Gough School A Specialist Language College
  • New build and major refurbishment at St Bedes RC Specialist Mathematics and Computing College
  • Minor refurbishment on St Hughs Secondary Special School

  • Design and build contract
  • Engage a Local Education Partner (LEP)
  • LEP to be a consortia including ICT provider as major equity shareholder
  • No PFI
  • LEP will offer a minimum of design and build, ICT managed service, building maintenance
  • Other services could be included, depending on LEP performance
  • LEP will have exclusivity for school design and build for 5 10 years subject to performance
