I am writing this letter on behalf of Robert Nichols who is seeking employment

with you. Robert is an individual with a strong work ethic, leadership experience, a team

I have served as Robert’s Platoon Leader in the Florida Army National Guard for

the past two years. Upon my assumption of duty he was immediately assigned as a

Military Police Team Leader, a position above his pay grade. Robert has filled that role

exceptionally for two years, one of which was in a combat zone. He was entrusted with

this position and the responsibility to lead two Soldiers and be responsible for over

$1,000,000 of equipment based on his knowledge, desire to exceed standards, and his

high moral character. As his Platoon Leader, I can tell you that Robert has always

preserved even through the challenges that face him and has shown a desire to lead

when many do not.
