Messages from the Head of School Good afternoon, This week we explored harvest and came up with some strategies to support those less fortunate than others whilst also learning about ’food miles’ and how to reduce our carbon emissions. Earlier this week we provided information from Public Health England on ‘Staying at home: what to do if you or someone in your home has coronavirus symptoms’. Please follow this guidance to identify if your child should attend school. If your child is absent as they are demonstrating symptoms or are isolating due to someone they share a home with displaying symptoms please inform the school so that we can provide home learning tasks through Google classroom. From Monday our weekly Stay and Play sessions held in the old caretakers house between 9:30– 11:30am will re-start. In line with our school strategy to reduce risk and prevent the transmission of infection there will be the following requirements for those attending:
Attendance at sessions will need to be pre-booked by contacting the school office on 02085273814 between 8:30-9:00am on Monday morning.
We will only be able to cater for 6 adults and their children per session.
Adults will be required for the duration of the session to wear a face covering.
Contact details will be taken for track and trace purposes We look forward to seeing you there!

art challenge is to create a poster
that promotes awareness of the
Jeans for Genes campaign, by
explaining the intentions behind
raising money for children with life-
altering genetic disorders. All you

How to make an Egg Float You will need:
Water Egg (fresh) Glass Salt
Objects sink in water when they are denser than the water. By adding salt, we make the water denser and once the water is denser than the egg, it floats. First, place the egg in water. Slowly add teaspoons of salt and slowly watch the water become denser. What happens to the egg?
