Message from the Acting Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
I am really enjoying my time as Acting Principal. We have such amazing students, staff and community.
Would you believe that we are beginning to plan for 2019 already. If you are moving house and know that your child will not be attending school at Myrniong, please inform our office staff. If you have a child starting Foundation next year and have not yet completed the enrolment forms please see Karen in the office.
Our junior team have been busy planning for transition sessions where next year’s preps come to school to become familiar with the routines and environment. Make sure you have completed enrolment so your child does not miss out. Thank you to all of the parents who completed the 2018 Parent Opinion survey. This information is important to us as it helps us to identify our future improvement and development. We are interested in your feedback on a few extra school matters, like Parent Teacher interviews and school newsletter distribution. Please take the time to do this short survey so we can plan with parent voice in mind. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/T2B362B
REMINDER:
From Monday September 3rd, 2018 our SunSmart policy comes into effect. All students are to be wearing a wide brim hat.
Kathy Burquest
Acting Principal
Welcome Mrs Ludewig Mrs Van will be taking Long Service Leave in Term 4. We welcome Zamira Ludewig, who you may recognise from previously working
in our After School Care Program. Zamira brings a sound knowledge of our play based curriculum and excellent knowledge
of the Early Years Framework.
Author of the Week: It is so rewarding seeing students achieve and con-quer their fears of being reluctant writers. Our au-thor of the week is Connor. He has been working hard on not only his handwriting but his writing
stamina.
Well done Connor!
CHOOKS:
We are excited by our new Chickens and have many chicken whisperers tending to their needs. During Monday’s assembly, Mr Crilly will be announcing their long awaited names. Please come along and show your support.
