Aaron Barnett announced thatanother gala weekend of en-tertainment is slated for theresidents, starting with Friday"evening, August 6th.

The highly successful Fridaynight dance program whichfeatures dancing to live adultmusic on the rear patio of thePhelps Land Town Park will startat 8:30 p.m. Saturday eveningwill feature a return engagementof the highly popular and suc-cessful hypnotic demonstrationperformed by the "Great Gar-

dino". This performance isscheduled for Saturday evening,smarting at 8:30 p.m. and willsimilarly take place on the rearpatio of the Phelps Lane TownPark.

On Sunday evening Townresidents will be treated to a jazzconcert featuring the Joe Ric-cardo Ensemble, consisting of 22thoroughly professional ja zzmusician, who will perform inconcert starting at 8:30 p.m.

Town Recreation DirectorRichard DiNapoli indicated thatall these activities are free toTown residents and suggestsearly arrival to assure choiceseating. He added, however, thatany overflow could easily beaccommodated on the spaciousgrass area surrounding the rearpatio.

Stolberg of 497 NorthFourth St., and Navy FiremanApprentice Terry Siele, son ofMr. and Mrs. Lawrence Siele ofRiviera Parkway are servingaboard the attack aircraftcarrier USS Saratoga with theU.S. Sixth Fleet in theMediterranean. The 15-year-oldcarrier spent two days inScotland and is scheduled to visitSpain, Italy, Greece, France andMalta.

MR. ud MRS. DOMDilCK SC-HARA of 930 Jackson Ave.recently enjoyed a two-weekvacation trip, by car, visitingMontreal, Canada, and touringVermont and Massachusetts onfiie way home. In Montreal, atMount Royale, they were im-pressed with beautiful St.Joseph's Oratorium, the nearbywax museum and Notre DameCollege.

A recent guest of Sfc John'sLutheran Church wasCHAPLAIN BRUCE DAVID-SON, who serves at Central IslipState Hospital. ChaplainDavidson served as liturgistduring the church worship ser-vices.

WILLIAM M. REARDON JR.,son of Mr. and Mrs. William M.Reardon Sr. of 770 South FourthSt. has been promoted totechnical sergeant in the U.S. AirForce. He is an air traffic con-troller at Don Muang Royal ThaiAFB, Thailand, with a unit of theAir Force CommunicationsService which provides globalcommunications and air trafficcontrol for the USAF. He is a 1965graduate of Lindenhurst HighSchool.

MR. and MRS. GEORGEAPPEL and daughters of AlbanyAve. returned home recentlyfrom a three-week auto trip toCalifornia, during which theyvisited San Francisco,Disneyland, the Grand Canyon,Yosemite and Rocky Mountainnational parks. They also enjoyeda tour of Universal Studios andwhile in Hollywood, saw filmstars Anthony Quinn and LucilleBall, as well as Mike Farrell, starof the television show, 'TheInterns.".
