Once you have selected the sample it will appear like thisOnce you have selected the sample it will appear like this
Drag the music clip to the place on the story board you want it to start. Your storyboard will automatically change to Timeline View which is what you want.

To shorten the audio clip, click on the end of the time line or where the audio clip ends, you will the green line like above, and drag it to where you want it .
