Cake Pop, Romantique, Tinted
Love, Dark Lava & Masquerade
accounted for 10% of Search
Traffic on their own…
… however, with 210 queries
apiece, only Cake Pop &
Romantique attracted above
average search volumes. The
remainder of the ‘Top 10’ was
captured across search volumes
ranging from 140 to 170.
But these weren’t always the most
sought after by advertisers, so we
decided to show you the Top 10 with
the highest Competitive Search
Volume Index...
...so, what were they?
Almost 25% of traffic was
‘Competitive’...
Rubble was the most competitive
term over the 6 month period, but
Negligee, Tutti Frutti and
Decadence also climbed up into the
Top 10 based on this measure…
…however, the most expensive
would have been Cake Pop : an
AdWords campaign capturing 210
visitors per month would have cost
over £3,000!
Talking of cost… the average cost of a
monthly AdWords campaign for a
specific colour was about £40, for
inbound traffic of between 50 and 210
visitors, but...
...which gave value for money?
Capturing ⅓ of the traffic would have cost over

been Masquerade - £40 per month
for 170 potential customers - look

… just because they search for
