1. There is a variety of international social responsibility concerns, and child labor is high on the contemporary multinational agenda. For the time being, the number of child laborers exceeds 250 million worldwide. In fact, child labor is defined by the International Labor Organization (2008) as types of work performed by children under 18.

2. Geographical location does truly effect how people of different races interact with one another. One of the brightest examples is between the South and the North of the United States of America. A young white woman from the North of the country and a young Afro-American from the South will have a lot of difficulties getting along together, due to the hostility of the South towards white people in general as a race.

Method of Development

Page 11: MOD & TOE

What is Division? : A division paragraph or essay explains a subject by dividing it into its essential parts. It is often confused with classification, however, the difference is that classification is more a broader/ general category and division is going further into the whole aspect. For example a restaurant: classification will group them into fast food, ethnic, family and gourmet. However, division, you look at the qualities or the parts that make it good such as food, service, atmosphere, etc. http://rbigausk.disted.camosun.bc.ca/6methodsofdev6.htm http://infotrac.thomsonlearning.com/infowrite/ex_division.htm

1) Identify and explain the essential qualities that make up the whole aspect... Ex: What are the qualities of your ideal city? Overall weather,

appearance, people and living expenses. What are the qualities for your ideal job? Money income, friendly people,

close to homeWhat are the qualities for your ideal friend? Loyal, entertaining, generous

2) Write a strong thesis statement that says the topic and explains the method of division by stating the number of subtopics, which helps the reader recall the major points: People cope with loss in four common ways; anger, depression, denial and compensation.

3) Once you have found the essential parts, you have the basic structure laid out. Now you just add detail to the subtopics.

~ Great Action FlicksHollywood continues to produce a constant stream of

expensive, big effects action movies, but most of these lack the ingredients of a great film. For a start, any film worth watching needs good actors who can deliver their lines convincingly. The wooden monotones of many muscle bound heroes have sunk many an action film. Secondly, action films today need to have truly spectacular special effects. But these need to be creatively developed, rather than just featuring an endless series of computer-generated explosions and battles. The last and probably most important ingredient is a convincing screenplay. If the audience can't buy into the story, neither Arnold nor the Lucas Film Special Effects Team can save the film. Yet, when a good story is supported by solid acting and dazzling special effects, we can't help but be seduced by the magic of Hollywood.
