What are powders made of? - The powders make use of mica, a lightweight and translucent powder that has a soft, silky feel. It is a naturally occurring ingredient that has sheer opacifying properties. Do the lip products contain beeswax? - Human Nature’s ColorCreme Mineral Lipstick, Tinted Lip Balms, and Regular Lip Balms all contain beeswax that are harvested in a humane, cruelty-free manner. Are there nanoparticles? - None! Human Nature Mineral Makeup does not contain finely milled powders which can infiltrate the lungs and cause respiratory ailments.

FAQS: PERFECT COVERAGE MINERAL FOUNDATION I cannot find my shade match. What can I do? - Human Nature strives to provide a wide variety of shades. The Perfect Finish Mineral Loose Powder and Mineral Pressed Powder may have your shade match. What is the best way to apply this? - Dip your clean sponge onto the pan. Apply in a patting motion, starting from the center of the face moving outwards. Apply a second layer as needed. Can I use wet sponge? - We do not recommend using a wet sponge as repeated patting of a damp item onto the product may cause bacterial buildup. Is this long-wearing? - On normal skin, the product would last until mid-day. It is recommended that customer uses the Day Moisturizer at least ten minutes prior to application of the product to help increase longevity. The product keeps on breaking! Why does this happen and what should I do? - Unlike synthetic makeup products with strong chemical binders, Human Nature makeup makes use of natural binders that are not as effective as their chemical counterparts. We are continuously working to improve the product. Tip: cover the powder area with cotton pads to help prevent breakage! Consider using a brush for application and have a light hand when picking up pigments.

FAQS: PERFECT COVERAGE MINERAL FOUNDATION

Can I wash the sponge? - It is recommended to wash the sponge periodically (at least 1x a week) to remove makeup buildup and bacterial growth. Run your sponge under warm water, use a small amount of liquid soap onto the sponge, turn into a lather, and massage sponge in running water until water runs clear. Air dry on a clean surface. Can I apply this using a brush? - Yes! Brush application would give a lighter coverage. There is a hard layer that cannot be removed. Why did this happen? - This is usually caused by contact of moisture onto the product. Moisture can either be oil on face or moisturizer that has not been fully absorbed by the skin. Best to ensure that skin is oil-free or moisturizer fully absorbed prior to application of product. Tip: place the sticky side of clean tape on hard part and gently scratch off. Can I use this on top of other brands BB Cream or Liquid Foundation? - The Perfect Coverage Foundation already provides medium coverage. We recommend putting this on top of moisturizer or sunscreen instead of other brands’ products. How do I load the refill? - Remove the used pan by pushing a small pin into the tiny hole at the back of the compact. Gently take the refill out of the box and remove the adhesive behind the pan. Insert the refill and light push down for adhesive to stick to the compact. Throw out the old sponge and use the new one that came with the refill.

FAQS: PERFECT FINISH MINERAL LOOSE POWDER How do I apply this product?

- Carefully remove the sifter seal, dip the supplied powder puff, tap off the excess, and pat onto clean, moisturized face. Using a fluffy powder brush also works! Apply a second layer as necessary.

Too much product comes out! It’s so messy!

- Instead of removing the sifter seal, try removing just half of the sticker, or poking holes in some of the holes. If the sifter seal has already been fully removed, carefully clean the sifter area, and cover some of the holes with clean, clear tape.

What do you mean by buildable coverage?

- Perfect Finish Mineral Loose Powder has a light coverage that does not have a heavy feel. Even a second layer of product can give added coverage, minus the heavy feel.

Soft Ivory is too light and Warm Mocha is too dark. Is there no counterpart to the HONEY shade?

- As of the moment, Soft Ivory and Warm Mocha are the available shades. We are working to increase the shade options. You may want to try mixing the two colors for a custom shade.

Pacific Shimmer works best for well tanned ladies, and those looking for a shimmery blush. Pink Bloom is a matte pink that works best for those with pink undertones (Perfect Coverage Users: Vanilla, Caramel; Pressed Powder Users: Island Shell, Boracay Bronze). Sun-Kissed is a matte peach that works best for those with yellow undertones (Perfect Coverage Users: Honey, Toffee; Pressed Powder Users: Orient Pearl, Sand Dollar). In a small cup of warm water + liquid hand soap OR shampoo, swirl your brush, gently press outwards to remove the excess pigments, and swirl in cool water until it runs clear. Best to not let the water reach the handle to avoid shedding. Place flat against a clean towel, or have the handle slightly elevated for the water to drip out.

FAQS: MINERAL COLORCREME LIPSTICK What shade should I use? - There are six (6) available and easy-to-wear shades available. As a general tip, it is recommended to match your lipstick to the blush you are using. Pink Bloom goes well with Pink Smoothie and Passion Candy, Sun-Kissed matches with Coral Charm and Coral Kiss, while Pacific Shimmer looks good with Crimson Glaze and Lucky in Love. Is this long-wearing? - The Mineral ColorCreme Lipsticks are highly moisturizing lipsticks. It is advisable to retouch your lipstick after meals. My lipstick is melting, what do I do? - The high temperatures may be causing the lipstick to soften. It is recommended that the product be stored in cool temperature. You can also put the product inside the refrigerator overnight to harden it. This will not affect product quality, nor will it make it more prone to melting when exposed to higher temperatures. The lipstick barrel won’t retract! - This is also related to the softening of the lipstick. Twist down the barrel fully, gently push back the product, and put the tube in cooler temperature. For succeeding uses, it is recommended to twist up until product is at the same level as the edge of the barrel.
