50 or so Years of general farm work and other uses has taken its toll on the none existent braking system, all components need replacing including the axle seals, half
shaft and diff bearings, brake shoes, drums and wheel studs,

Gearbox and Hydraulic Pump housing was full with water and oil mixture, over the years condensation had formed and mixed with the oil destroying the bearings and
hydraulic pump, everything was taken out cleaned up and replaced as required.

The Hydraulic Top Cover was removed to rectify the reason why the upper lift arms didn’t move, the water had seeped through and seized the bushes to the shaft, a 50t
press was used to push out the cross shaft and heat applied at the same time, all moved with a huge bang, the shaft and bushes with the rubber seals are always
replaced and coated with copper grease to help remove the shaft in the future, should the need ever arise again. The final drive and all other casings were cleaned out all
outside rust removed by blast cleaning, rebuilding has commenced.

Gearbox and final drive reassembly begins, careful checking that all components are clean and tolerances set, we don’t want bearings and shafts to wind up and seize.
Gearbox bearings are all replaced as a matter of course, while the gears are checked for broken or worn teeth, replaced as required, new gaskets everywhere nuts and bolts
cleaned and replaced as required.

Lower Lift arm pins are always replaced before the axle trumpet housing gets put back
in place, ensuring the correct tolerances are applied for the half shafts, new seals, bearings and wheel studs are used every signature rebuild.

Fully rebuilt hydraulic pump and gearbox, selector rails and spring retainers all
replaced with new gaskets to keep out rainwater.

Clutch actuator shafts and bushes were all replaced together with the brake cross shaft
and bushes, PTO bearings, seals and end cap replaced on this Signature rebuild .

The most important part of any rebuild the steering, Track rod ends, Stub Axle bushes, Steering Box, all components are replaced as required, to ensure a safe and trouble free
Road Run.

All starting to take shape now with the casings now full of components, new cross
shafts and bushes, with replaced input shaft seals, and clutch release bearing.

Head and block face skimmed to take out any imperfections, new valves guides and
valves fitted, new liners ready to take a new set of pistons.

Crankshaft reground to 10+ Mains & Big end shells fitted, the old starter ring gear was
cut off and a new ring gear heated up and pushed on.

All together now and getting prepared for painting, the zinc phosphate primer is a very good base, for rust prevention and paint adhesion, applied while wet to get it all to stick
together and not flake off after a couple of jet washes.

A couple of base coats are used to get a good covering for the 5 acrylic top coats, quick drying time allows the work to continue without leaving hand marks in the paint, final
stages of assembly now to check everything works as it should.
