THE Spring street wing, contain-ing the state suites, has beengiven thought both from a utili-

tarian and artistic viewpoint. Magnifi-

cent curtains, draperies, carpets andfurniture will be used in this wing, andthe equipment will be uncqualed on thecontinent. There will be one state

suite on each floor, containing two bedchambers, drawing room and privatedining room, with butler's pantry soarranged that a family occupying it canreceive the most finished service with-
