As we are recognized as specialists in authentic Natural Products, once again we were bound to be the first to plug a gap in an important, key market like this, Argan Oil’s Anti-aging products. These products hope to be a starting point, both ideally and commercially, in offering products of the highest quality for Body Care. We demand the highest standards in formulation and production from our suppliers, who must always have their procedures already in place.

Ideally associated with and responsible for conscientious compliance since 2007 with CCPB standards, applying the strictest European regulations in Organic Cosmetics, we insist that:

• our product must be entirely formulated from Natural and Naturally Sourced raw materials• 95% of Certifiably Natural raw materials must be Certified Organic• the use of Non-Organic raw materials is prohibited where a Certified equivalent is present on the market• the use of GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) is prohibited• the parfum used must be 100% Natural

Other, no less important restrictions are enforced on both the remaining 5% of product ingredients and all aspects of the production process, including checks on production lines and working space.

Argan OilArgan, or Argania (from which the botanical name Argania spinosa derives) is a species of tree endemic to southwestern Morocco, specifically in the Souss Valley.The name Argan, the plant’s more familiar connotation, corresponds to the local name in the Berber language.It is limited to a single geographical area, and after having been subjected to intensive exploitation for its wood, to the point of rendering it an endangered species, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage several decades ago, so that today there are about twenty million specimens in a single large forest.

The production of Argan oil requires a laborious artisanal process that guarantees its organoleptic qualities and biological origin. After harvesting, drying and various other phases involving the removal of the external casing, opening the tough shells and pressing in a stone mill, a golden oil is obtained with a characteristic intense aroma; in the end, 50 kilograms of seeds are required to obtain one kilogram of oil!This is why this natural fruit is so precious, and why its cosmetic and medicinal virtues are so important. The Berber population of the Atlantic coast has long made use of Argan oil for its effective protective, moisturizing and nutrient action on the skin.
