Vittoria Sweet Company 1st year
During the Law and Economics lessons younger students from 1st and 2nd
discussed how to make their Economic Company. They decided for a SWEET COMPANY to commercialize honey and products with honey.
They surfed the net to look for Italian laws concerned with opening and dealing a company. They also devoted some hours to study in details everything concerned with honey, its characteristics, how bees make various kinds of hone.
They organized themselves in a team of entrepreneurs dividing their duties inside the working team. The students “administrators” asked the headmistress to lend them a certain amount of money to buy the honey.
The marketing administrators looked for honey from the hills of Torino and contacted a HONEY LOCAL APICULTURIST. They discussed the weight and the price of the jars with the young beekeeper. They tasted the honey and they choose “Wildflowers honey” from Cellarengo.
They bought 50 jars of 500 g, for € 175.00 to be sold at € 5.00 each one, and 50 jars of 1000 g for€ 300.00 to be sold at € 10 each one.
At the end of November students charged of Marketing were able to invent some posters, to write a sort of drug information leaflet to go with each jar, respecting the UE indications for the labels
